1 - 1
Leyton Orient

Highbury Stadium

Saturday 30 August 2014. 15:00

Attendance: 3,222

Referee:

Fleetwood Town scored a late equaliser to deny Leyton Orient all three points in the first meeting between the two sides.

Darius Henderson put the O's in front in the 35th minute before Scott Dobbie levelled the scores in the 83rd minute.

Leyton Orient manager Russell Slade made six changes from the side that defeated Aston Villa, bringing Adam Legzdins back in goal as well as reinstating captain Nathan Clarke in defence.

Jamie Proctor threatened for Fleetwood early on but Orient went close to grabbing the lead in the 26th minute when Mathieu Baudry's crashed back off the post.

The O's did take the lead however when Darius Henderson headed Jobi McAnuff's cross home to score his third goal of the season.

Fleetwood thought they had scored an equaliser ten minutes after the restart but Jamie Proctor's finish was ruled out for offside.

Orient were then denied by the woodwork for a second time in the match when David Mooney's headed clipped the bar.

The O's were unable to hold onto their win as Fleetwood grabbed an equaliser seven minutes from time when Scott Dobbie slotted under Adam Legzdins.

The draw now see's Orient unbeaten in six matches since their opening day defeat at home to Chesterfield.
