Crewe Alexandra vs. Leyton Orient

Grest Road

Orient take on Crewe

Top of the table Orient will try and keep their 100% in tact when they take on an improving Crewe side at Gresty Road.

Orient won last years fixture 4-0, but Crewe seemed to have improved and even though they are without last seasons top scorer Nicky Maynard a repeat of the same scoreline looks very unlikely.

Vital Quotes:

Martin Ling told the Waltham Forest Guardian: ''Injuries are still a problem for us, but after three straight wins we coudn't go into the game with more confidence.'I'm sure it will be a different story than last season, because I see them being a top eight side now.

'Hopefully we can still keep the good start going. I would even be happy with a point.'

Crewe Alexandra Team News:

As stated Nicky Maynard is definitely out with knee and ankle ligament injuries. Chris McCready is also a major doubt, although Ryan Lowe has made the squad after injury.

Player to watch: Gary Roberts

Gary Roberts has bags of talent. The youngster can play either central or right midfield as is one of many fine prospects produced by The Alex over the years. He has already scored twice this campaign.

Leyton Orient Team News:

Jabo is definitely out. Michael Simpson, after returning from his horrible injury from last term has injured his hamstring along with Brian Saah who will probably miss out. Captain Purches is a major doubt. With yep, hamstring trouble.

Player to watch: Adam Boyd

Adam Boyd. has scored goals but not played brilliantly thus far, a lot is expected and we shall see if he delivers against Crewe.

Match Facts & Stats

All square. Orient 6 wins, Crewe 6 wins and 6 draws.

Match Prediction:

2-1 to the Orient. fancy Boyd to pop up with another.

Next Fixtures:

Orient have two home fixtures in a row against Northampton and Bournemouth.
