Fleetwood Town vs. Leyton Orient

Highbury Stadium

Saturday 30 August 2014

O's Face Top Of The Table - Fleetwood (A)

On the back of their 1-0 win at Aston Villa, Leyton Orient return to League One action as they travel to Fleetwood Town.

The O's surprise Capital One Cup victory midweek will be sure to make manager Russell Slade's team selection even harder after a wonderful team performance.

Having been promoted from League Two via the Play-Offs last season, Fleetwood are enjoying a good start to this campaign and are top with three wins and one draw from their first four matches.

VitalOrient looks ahead to Saturday's match.

Fleetwood Town Team News:

Keith Southern has returned to training but is short of match fitness.

Jamille Matt is still recovering from a knee injury.

Scott Dobbie could feature as he closes in on full fitness.

Player to watch: Jamie Proctor

After signing from Crawley Town in the summer, forward Jamie Proctor has started his Fleetwood career in fine fashion with three goals in his first five matches.

The 22-year-old will not only provide a physical threat but also has an eye for goal from the edge of the box.

Proctor started his career at Preston North End and has also spent a year at Swansea City.

Leyton Orient Team News:

Kevin Lisbie and Shaun Batt are recovering from shoulder and calf injuries respectively.

Jobi McAnuff an Gary Sawyer are both doubts.

Adam Legzdins, Nathan Clarke, Darius Henderson and Romain Vincelot are all expected to start after being on the bench at Villa Park.

Player to watch: Lloyd James

The creative midfielder produced a stunning performance against Aston Villa on Wednesday.

It was arguably one of James' finest showings in an Orient shirt with an excellent range of passing.

Orient will need the former Southampton man to have another fine passing display if they are to break down Graham Alexander's side.

Match Facts & Stats

This will be the first ever match between the two sides.
