Crewe Alexandra vs. Leyton Orient

Gresty Road

Battling Against The Railwaymen - Crewe (A)

After brushing aside Carlisle last week, next up for Orient is a trip to the Alexandra Stadium on Saturday as they prepare to face Crewe.

As the division`s top goalscorers with 54 goals, the O's will be looking to take advantage of Crewe's poor defensive record which has seen them concede 51 goals and as a result, occupy one of the relegation places.

Despite finding themselves down in 22nd place, Steve Davis' side go in to Saturday's match knowing that a win should see them move out of the relegation zone.

VitalOrient looks ahead to this upcoming league fixture.

Vital Quotes:

Crewe Alexandra Team News:

Mathias Pogba could feature after coming on as a substitute in last week`s 4-2 defeat to Rotherham after six months out.

Loan signing Uche Ikpeazu could make his debut after joining from Watford.

Player to watch: Chuks Aneke

The youngster, who is on loan from Arsenal, leads both the goalscoring and assist charts for Crewe so far this season, with six goals and four assists to his name.

Standing at 6ft 3in, the attacking midfielder will provide competition for the Orient defence in aerial battles and will need to be marked closely to prevent the play-maker from creating many chances for himself and his team-mates.

Aneke is in his second loan spell at Crewe having also been at the club last season, scoring eight goals in 38 appearances.

Leyton Orient Team News:

Romain Vincelot could return to the squad after missing the first weeks of 2014 with a knee injury.

Marvin Bartley is likely to miss the match after suffering a hamstring injury in the match against Carlisle last week.

New signing Chris Dagnall could make his debut after signing for the O''s on Thursday.

Player to watch: Scott Cuthbert

After a man of the match performance against Carlisle last week, the Scottish defender will need to put in another disciplined performance at Crewe on Saturday.

Cuthbert, who has proven his versatility across the defence this season having played the majority of his matches at right back, will need to support Odubajo when pushing forward to help Orient exploit Crewe's shaky defence as well as stick to his defensive duties.

Match Facts & Stats

Orient last won at Crewe in 2008.

The O's have won 10 out of the 25 meetings between the two sides.

Ref Watch:

Andy Woolmer will be in charge of Saturday's fixture.

Crewe Alexandra: MK Dons (H) Jan 21; Tranmere (A) Jan 25; Stevenage (A) Jan 28

Leyton Orient: Coventry (H) Jan 28; Rotherham (A) Feb 1; Peterborough (H) Feb 8
