Leyton Orient vs. Bury

Brisbane Road

Play-offs Well And Truly Bury`d? Bury (H)

The O`s head into the second part of the Easter holiday schedule knowing that only a win will suffice if they are to keep their faint play-off hopes alive.

Scunthorpe took a vital three points to help their chances of survival against Orient on Good Friday and the Shakers will they can pounce as well.

Bury are seven points behind Scunny and need all the points they can if they are to do the near impossible and survive in League 1.

It is sure to be a tense and exciting affair at Brisbane Road tomorrow as VitalOrient previews the match.

Vital Preview

Leyton Orient Team News:

Mathieu Baudry could be set to return to the starting line up as he makes his way back from a hip injury.

The likes of Lee Cook, Lloyd James and Charlie MacDonald could be in contention for a starting place after the disappointing show at Glanford Park.

Player to watch: Nathan Clarke

The O`s skipper will be hoping for a clean sheet against one of his former clubs.

Clarke spent time on loan last season at Gigg Lane as he found opportunities limited at former side Huddersfield.

After a disastrous defensive day with new centre half partner Elliott Omozusi at Scunthorpe, the 29-year old will be hoping to put in a more solid display in front of a home crowd.

Bury Team News:

Craig Jones is out for the rest of the season after suffering a double injury setback. He joins defenders Phil Picken and Adam Lockwood on the sidelines.

Joe Skarz is not available after he joined League 2 Rotherham United on loan until the season`s end.

Player to watch: Steven Schumacher

The Bury captain with the Formula 1 surname will be hoping to to turn on the style in the hopes of getting his side a much needed three points.

The former Crewe man has been one of few shining lights in a side that looked destined for League 2.

Schumacher is also top scorer with 10 goals this season and the Shakers will expect their skipper to be on top form if they are to succeed in E10.

Match Facts & Stats

The last time both sides met was in December at Gigg Lane when Orient won comfortably 2-0. A brace from Kevin Lisbie was enough to give the visitors victory against a Bury side who looked like relegation candidates back in December.

Orient also have the advantage when it comes to the head to head records. The O`s have won 24 of the 52 meetings between the sides whilst Bury have only won 17.
