Notts County vs. Leyton Orient

Meadow Lane

6th March 2013

19:45

Back to Notts County (A)

After the late postponement of the original fixture in December the O`s now face the trip up to Nottingham again as they take on the play-off seeking Magpies.

Both teams will hope to boost their points tally with maximum points after winning their respective matches at the weekend. Vital Orient previews the rescheduled clash.

Vital Preview

Notts County Team News:

County are once again without full back Julian Kelly. He was missing in their victory over Carlisle at the weekend, and it is likely that interim manager Chris Kiwomya will continue with three central defenders in his formation after it successfully worked against the Cumbrians.

Player to watch: Alan Judge

The lively midfielder will be one of the main dangers for the O`s tonight. The former Blackburn man has six goals to his name in the league this season, and he is considered one of the hottest properties outside of the top two divisions.

Judge is well known by Orient fans after his late wonder strike against Wycombe last season was enough to send the Wanderers down and keep the east Londoners in League 1.

Leyton Orient Team News:

Kevin Lisbie could feature from the start after his goalscoring return from the substitute bench against Bournemouth at the weekend. Gary Sawyer is still absent from the injury he sustained in the defeat at Hartlepool, with Leon McSweeney likely to deputise again.

The O`s squad is two men lighter this week after Anthony Griffith was sent out on loan to Port Vale and youngster Billy Lobjoit was released.

Player to watch: Kevin Lisbie

"Super" Kevin Lisbie made his return at the weekend in emphatic style, showing what the team has missed during his absence. His well taken finish to seal a 3-1 victory against Bournemouth took his league tally to double figures for the season so far.

Whether he starts or comes off the bench, the O`s will be hoping their talisman can deliver the goods once again.

Match Facts & Stats

Orient won the reverse fixture in January 2-1, with the O`s grabbing two goals in the space of three minutes to win the game.

Notts County have two former O`s from last season in their team in defender Dean Leacock and winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce.

In the two teams 70 meetings, it is Notts County who have predominantly come up on top, winning 29 of the clashes, whilst Orient have won 25, there have been 16 draws.
