A Cherry Picked Match - Bournemouth (H)

High flying AFC Bournemouth make the trip up to E10 this weekend as they look to boost their promotion hopes.

The big spenders were recently top of the league and in such a tight battle at the top of the division they will be looking for every point possible in their quest for Championship football.

The O`s however will be looking to keep the Cherries mini blip going and boost their own chances of finishing in the top half come the end of April. Vital Orient previews tomorrow`s clash.

Vital Preview

Leyton Orient Team News:

Martin Rowlands could be fit to return to the match day squad for tomorrow`s game after missing the trip to Sheffield United and the home game against Crawley.

The O`s could still be without Gary Sawyer as he recovers from leg damage suffered in the away trip to Hartlepool last month; Lee Butcher and Kevin Lisbie are still absentees.

Player to watch: Mathieu Baudry

This match sees Baudry face his old club in AFCB. Baudry did not play in the match at Dean Court earlier this season and will be looking forward to facing his old teammates, with his place in the starting line up all but guaranteed.

The Frenchman has been the revelation of the season so far; brought in as back-up to the likes of Nathan Clarke and Scott Cuthbert, a string of fine performances along with his elegant footballing style has made sure he is one of the first names on the teamsheet.

Bournemouth Team News:

The Cherries have some major injury issues, with former O Charlie Daniels and Tommy Elphick both still absent for the visitors in defence.

Midfielder Miles Addison is out with injury whilst influential midfielder Harry Arter begins a two match suspension after picking up ten bookings this campaign.

Tricky winger Marc Pugh is also a doubt with a neck injury, but boss Eddie Howe is hopeful he will pass a late fitness test.

Player to watch: Matt Ritchie

The winger is one of the stars of League One, who has shown on regular occasions his potential to play at higher level.

He has come into the spotlight recently after his big money move from rivals Swindon Town on transfer deadline day which eventually forced former manager Paulo Di Canio to resign from the Robins over a lack of ambition.

Ritchie has already played at Brisbane Road this year with his old club, so O`s fans know the dangers of the Bournemouth winger.

Match Facts & Stats

There are plenty of ex players on both sides. The O`s have former Bournemouth man Mathieu Baudry in their ranks and Michael Symes who is out on loan at Burton.

Whilst the Cherries have three former Orient players in Charlie Daniels, Stephen Purches and Ryan Allsop.

AFCB won the reverse fixture earlier this season 2-0, the first match of returning boss Eddie Howe after he traded Lancashire for the South Coast.

Ref Watch:

The Referee for tomorrow's match between Leyton Orient and Bournemouth is James Linington.
