Bournemouth vs Leyton Orient Preview

After drawing with league leaders Brighton on Tuesday, Orient now travel to face second-placed Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

Russell Slade told leytonorient.com:

'We have to continue in the same positive vein that we've shown recently. It's not an easy place to go to - I really rate Bournemouth.

'We know it's going to be a tough game, but we're positive. We have a momentum, we can play and we can score goals.

'They can score goals too, they're the second top goalscorers in the division, so they're a threat going forward, but if we can nullify that we know we can score ourselves.'

Bournemouth Team News:

Bournemouth defender Rhoys Wiggins will miss the game with a calf injury.

Player to watch: Marc Pugh

Pugh scored twice when Bournemouth visited the O's earlier this season and is their top scorer with 12 goals so far.

A dangerous midfielder with an eye for setting-up and scoring goals.

Leyton Orient Team News:

Adam Chambers is out again, this time with a shin injury but Stephen Dawson, Scott McGleish and Elliot Omozusi should be fit to play some part in the game.

Player to watch: Stephen Dawson

Captain Dawson will be eager to get back on track after his injury problems. He should start in the centre of midfield, replacing the injured Adam Chambers. And Dawson's energy will be key to O's in defence and attack tomorrow.

Match Facts & Stats

The last meeting between the teams ended in a 2-2 draw at Brisbane Road in November.

Bournemouth sit second, 16 points above the O's in 15th. Whilst Orient have only lost 1 in 16, their opponents have won 11 of their 14 home games so far this season.

Match Prediction:

Bournemouth have a fantastic home record but O's good recent record should make this a close game, a score draw would be a good result for Russell Slade and Orient.
