Calderwood: Forest Must Win

Nottingham Forest manager Colin Calderwood has admitted that his side must defeat Orient on Saturday to stand any chance of gaining automatic promotion.

The pre-season favourites are four points behind second placed Bristol City and need the Robins to slip up at Millwall this weekend.

Forest must also pick up three points at Brisbane Road against an Orient side that are fighting for survival at the wrong end of the table.

Calderwood said: 'I do not think our hopes of automatic promotion are finished, but we need other results to go for us.

'It is important we get an away victory at Leyton Orient, it is a win we need because that could give us a chance on the last day of the season and on the last day of the season anything could happen.'

'Everything could turn around on the last day of the season and that is what we are living and hoping for. But we have got to keep winning.'

Orient beat Forest 3-1 at the City Ground back in December 2006 with Luke Guttridge, Adam Chambers and Wayne Corden on the scoresheet.
