Massey In Team Of Midweek (17/2/17)

Leyton Orient are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week's action.

The performance by Gavin Massey in the three two victory over Plymouth Argyle in midweek at Home Park was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we'll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Massey was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice - the FL blurb read.

'Leyton Orient earned the EFL Result of the Night, and Massey played a major role in their 3-2 away success at Plymouth Argyle. Massey scored early, but the O's were trailing late on until the winger added a second, before Sandro Semedo's dramatic late winner at Home Park.'

It's always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Massey for his recognition, but the most important thing about the game was of course the points.

Full Team:

Luke Daniels (Scunthorpe United), Enda Stevens (Portsmouth), Peter Clarke (Oldham Athletic), Vincent Sasso (Sheffield Wednesday), Jake Buxton (Wigan Athletic), Jason Demetriou (Southend United), Kadeem Harris (Cardiff City), Jimmy Smith (Crawley Town), Gavin Massey (Leyton Orient), Tom Bradshaw (Barnsley), Billy Kee (Accrington Stanley).

Manager - David Artell (Crewe Alexandra).
