Slade Still Looking To Bolster Squad

Leyton Orient manager Russell Slade has revealed he is still hoping to bring a couple more players to the club before the start of the season.

In an interview with the Epping Forest Guardian, the O`s boss discussed his current squad.

"We`re trying to add to the squad to give us a little bit more strength," said Slade. "If we can strengthen the squad in the coming weeks before the start of the season, then I'll be delighted."

The 56-year-old is believed to be looking for both a right midfielder, to replace Moses Odubajo who left for Brentford earlier on this summer, as well as another striker.

Slade also revealed he is hoping to have a strong and reliable squad throughout next season.

"This season I hope that my whole group, 20 or however many it is, are all capable of going in at any stage and performing at a very good standard."
