Orient's Olympic Stadium Dispute Settled

Leyton Orient's long standing objection towards West Ham United being allowed to move to the Olympic Stadium has been settled.

The Premier League announced earlier today that they have agreed a settlement with Leyton Orient regarding the matter, and that Orient no longer dispute the decision.

Leyton Orient later released a statement on the official club website which read:

'The Premier League and Leyton Orient FC are pleased to announce that they have reached settlement of a dispute regarding the future use of the Olympic Stadium on terms which are confidential.

'Leyton Orient confirms, however, that it no longer disputes the validity of the Premier League`s decision to allow West Ham United to occupy the Stadium.'

As mentioned in the statement, details of the settlement are confidential in order to benefit both clubs.

Todays announcement follows on from last week news that Leyton Orient's potential new owner Francesco Becchetti is believed to be keen on on Orient remaining at Brisbane Road.
