Inexperienced O's Lose To St.Albans

An Orient team featuring youngsters and several trialists were unable to keep up the pre-season record of the first team as they ended up losing on Friday night.

Ryan Ashe netted in the first half and George Ngoyi in the second to give the hosts a two goal lead before Harrison Georgiou grabbed one back for the visitors just before the end.

The O's gave a run-out to five trialists who were Defenders Ben Sampayo and Joe Kizzi; Midfielders Scott Donnelly, Ross Jenkins and David Lounhongou and finally striker Adda Djaziri.

Despite some solid performances by these players last night, it is unlikely that any of them will have impressed the Orient coaches sufficiently to be offered a more permanent stay.
