'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Beagrie - Miracle Needed To Achieve Seventh

Sky Sports pundit Peter Beagrie believes that Leyton Orient will be unable to achieve the heights of seventh or higher in the upcoming League 1 campaign.

Speaking to London 24 the former flying winger suggests that with bigger clubs than Orient dropping down into League 1 the O's will struggle to repeat the feat.

'When I look at the teams that have come down, and the teams that are still in there, I don`t think they (Orient) have a chance of repeating that this season. If he (Slade & Orient) finishes in seventh position he should definitely win manager of the season.'

Despite damning the east Londoners chances, he was quick to compliment manager Russell Slade.

'I've got a lot of mutual friends who hold Sladey in such high regard, the Football League is full of characters and Sladey is certainly one of them.'

Whether Beagrie is right only time will tell. If you have a opinion on Beagrie's thoughts please write your comments in the section below.
