Mooney Signs Two Year Contract

Mooney Signs Two Year Contract

David Mooney has signed a new two year deal which will see him extend his stay in E10.

The striker scored 13 goals in the last campaign as his steadily improving performances impressed fans and management alike.

Orient boss Russell Slade spoke of his pleasure at securing the Irishman for the next term and beyond.

'It`s great to get him (Mooney) tied down with a new contract as for the way we play he fits perfectly into the make-up of the team."

Mooney has developed a good partnership with Kevin Lisbie, in particularly over the last season; if that can continue to progress it could fire the O's onto some good results next season.
