Jimmy Smith Signs For Stevenage

Released Orient midfielder Jimmy Smith has today signed for League 1 rivals Stevenage.

The 26 year old ended his four year association with the O's earlier this summer when manager Russell Slade opted against handing the former Chelsea man a new contract in E10.

Despite a late run of appearances and goals for Orient, Smith was unable to recapture his form of the 2010/11 season and was left to find a new club.

He will join former O Ben Chorley at Broadhall Way as Graham Westley begins his second revolution in charge of the Hertfordshire based outfit.
