Transfer Rumour - Anthony Griffith

Anthony Griffith could be on his way back to former club Port Vale permanently this summer.

The tough tackling midfielder had a reasonable start to his Orient career before being moved out of the side thanks to the likes of Martin Rowlands and Romain Vincelot.

And with Russell Slade looking to free up funds for new faces, Griffith could leave the club.

One rumoured destination is Port Vale. After finishing a successful loan spell with the Staffordshire based outfit at the end of last season, Vale boss Micky Adams could be tempted to him bring back Vale Park.

Whilst it would be disappointing to see Griffith leave it would most likely be in the interest of both parties if the midfielder found a new club, similar to Michael Symes chances look set to be limited for him at Orient next term.
