Vincelot Nominated For Player Of The Month

Romain Vincelot has been chosen as one of three candidates for the npower League 1 player of the Month award for April.

The Frenchman featured in four games during the month and all of them saw him play in central defence.

Vincelot, who is more comfortable in central midfield, formed a solid partnership with captain Nathan Clarke as the O's finished the campaign in excellent form.

The other nominees for the prize are Bournemouth's Harry Arter and Oldham Athletic's Matt Smith.

Vincelot has returned to his homeland of France to assess whether to sign a new contract at the O's after being offered a new deal recently.

The 27 year old has been a positive influence for the team and it is widely hoped amongst all Orient supporters that he signs up for the 2013/14 season.
