Sawyer Named In Team Of The Week

Gary Sawyer's goalscoring performance at the weekend against MK Dons has earned him a spot in the League 1 team of the week.

It was the perfect weekend for the former Bristol Rovers defender, as his return from injury ended up with him scoring the important winner along with keeping a defensive clean sheet down the other end.

The 27 year old's display on Saturday was enough to keep the O's within sight of a potential play off spot as they now lie a point behind Swindon, although the Robins have a game in hand on Orient.

It was also enough to convince the football league panel that he should be in the team of the week which can be viewed Here
