Slade - Doesn`t Get Tougher Than Preston

Orient boss Russell Slade was keen to damper expectations after the O`s 4-1 victory on Saturday at home to Carlisle United.

The win carries on the O`s current unbeaten run which stretches five games since the 0-1 defeat at home to Crawley on February 23rd.

And whilst Slade would rather the successful run keep going, he admits it will be a challenge.

"We`re Leyton Orient, every game is difficult, and so we have to prepare ourselves for the next game which is Preston."

Despite their injury time loss to Brentford on Saturday, the Lilywhites have been rejuvenated by new manager Simon Grayson since the departure of Graham Westley. And Slade realises that the trip to Deepdale will represent a tough challenge for his in form O`s.

"And it`s not good for Orient, because it doesn`t get any tougher away game than Preston. They`ve done fantastically well since he`s (Grayson) gone in and it`ll be another strong challenging test that`s for sure."

There is live commentary of Preston V Leyton Orient this Saturday on BBC London Radio, with kick off at 15:00.
