Vincelot: I Came Here To Play

French midfield Romain Vincelot is hoping to rejuvenate his career in his three month spell at Brisbane Road. The 27 year old had been frozen out of the first team at his previous club Brighton & Hove Albion, and was subsequently released on transfer deadline day in January.

Snapped up by the O`s a couple of weeks later, the Frenchman has made a quick start to his Orient career, starting in the last two league games and featuring prominently in the deserved draw away to Sheffield United on Tuesday.

And speaking after the goalless draw at Bramall Lane to Epping Forest Guardian he stated his pleasure at playing regular football again.
"That`s why I came to Leyton Orient. I just wanted to have this three-month spell and play each game if I can."

Signed only until the end of the season, the tenacious midfielder has left his options open for the summer and will be hoping to impress other potential suitors as well as his current boss Russell Slade.

After stopping the run of two straight league defeats, Vincelot wants his current side to start climbing the league, starting with Bournemouth on Saturday.
"You have to react quickly and we did that which is a good thing. Now we have to pick up as many points as possible."
