'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Kids Are All Right

Whilst many teenagers across the land play their management simulator games trying to gain glory in a computer game, come Saturday April 13th the local kids of east London will have the opportunity to do it in real life.

In conjunction with Football League sponsors npower, the O`s are launching a scheme called "What`s Your Goal?" aiming to grab the interest of local teenagers mad about football, who will learn about the inner workings of a football club.

Included in this scheme is the opportunity to help manage the side with gaffer Russell Slade for the visit of MK Dons on April 13th. There will also be other roles open for youngsters between 16 and 18 to get involved with, including shadowing chairman Barry Hearn.

Promoter Hearn stated to Metro that this was not just simply a PR stunt.
"No, we`ll give them every chance to get involved, they won`t be going through the motions - this is the real thing."

If you are aged between 16 to 18 in the east London area, and interested in the chance to take over a Football League club visit What`s Your Goal website to apply.
