'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Romain Vincelot Joins On

The versatile 27 year old has signed a contract until the end of the season.

He was released by Brighton at the end of January, and Russell Slade has been a long time admirer so moved quickly to get him to the club.

Speaking to the Official Site Slade explained.

'Romain is a great signing for us, he has an excellent attitude and will give us versatility. I've admired him for a while since his time at Dagenham and Redbridge and if he impresses during the time he is here, then we will do all we can to keep him at the club.'

Slade continues to say that his versatility and experience of playing across the backfour and in midfield at Championship level will be a huge plus for us, and no doubt he will be somebody who can teach the youngsters a trick or two.

Vincelot has been given the number 4 shirt and will be eligible to play in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
