Batt Delighted With Debut

Shaun Batt has said he was delighted with his debut for Orient, and he obviously hopes this is a successful loan spell for him.

Speaking to the Official Site the loan signing said.

'It was nice to finish with the three points and ideally I would like to have scored as well, but I was happy to contribute to the win. (me and Charlie) worked a it on shape in training yesterday, we seemed to link well together and that was nice. We deserved to win the game.'

As for his spell with us, and his hopes he added.

'Within a few days from when I first heard about the possibility, the move happened. I'm happy to come, basically, just to play as well as I can, score some goals, get myself fit and contribute to Orient's season as much as possible. I want to do well for the month and see what happens.'

Batt was also asked whether he'd consider a permanent deal with us, as his contract is up in the summer with Millwall and he said.

'Yes, it's been a good start so far, I definitely wouldn't rule it out. I've settled well, the manager and players have been good to me.'
