Orient Off Due To Motorway Smash
Orient's home game with Hartlepool United was called off yesterday due to the visiting side finding themselves stuck in traffic on the M11.
An accident around the Redbridge and Charlie Brown roundabout that involved a family and a motorbike at 7.30am yesterday caused severe implications for thousands as traffic piled up for hours.
The visitors, who travelled down on Friday and stayed overnight in Waltham Abbey, failed to find an adequate alternative and sat in traffic for hours. The postponement will surely hit the North East side in the pocket, as another overnight stop and cost of hiring out a coach will rack up.
