Chambers Signs For Orient

Orient have completed the signing of former West Bromwich player, Adam Chambers. Orient´s new signing can play in a variety of postions including central midfield and the full back areas has been given a contract until the end of the season.

Chambers had been training with Orient during pre-season and has impressed Martin Ling sufficiently to gain a contract with the club. Chambers has had Premier League experience having played 50 times for the Baggies, however, his career has been blighted with injuries and hence Chambers found himself turning out for Kidderminster Harriers in 2005.

Despite his problems with injuries, Martin Ling seems convinced that Chambers can add something extra to an Orient squad that have lost their last three games. "The quality that allowed him to play in the Premiership hasn't left him, but he's been troubled by injury over the last year, although his time here has shown us he's over those problems", said Ling having secured the former Baggies man´s signature. "He gives me good options for the squad too, because not only can he play in central midfield, but at right or left back too. He deserves the opportunity to show us what he can do over the course of the season, and I'm sure he will do enough to earn a contract for a longer period of time".
