LOFC - Three More Sign

Orient have made three signings in as many days to boost Russell Slade's squad. Ryan Allsop, Ryan Brunt and now Nathan Clarke have all made the move to E10 since Monday.

Goalkeeper Allsop joined on Monday and has put pen to paper on a six month deal. The twenty year-old Birmingham born goalie came through the West Bromwich Albion academy before signing for Millwall last summer. Allsop has yet to make his professional debut and will be used as competition for Jamie Jones whilst Lee Butcher is injured.

Tuesday saw Ryan Brunt sign on a six month deal like Allsop. Brunt is contracted to Premier League side Stoke City and joins on a loan deal for half a year. Like Allsop, Brunt is Birmingham born but started his career at Bristol City before moving to The Potters in 2010. Brunt missed much of the 2010-11 season due to a cruciate knee ligament injury but recovered from that and has had three loan spells away from The Britannia Stadium. His first loan deal was at non-league Nantwich Town before playing five games for Luton Town. His deal at Luton ended after both clubs couldn't agree an extension, Brunt then got his first taste of League One football with Tranmere Rovers where he scored once in fifteen games for the Wirral side.

Today has seen Nathan Clarke join the club on a two-year deal. Clarke joins after eleven years at Huddersfield Town where he made over 300 appearances for the club, with the vast majority of those being in League One. The twenty-eight year-old wasn't in Lee Clark's plans for last season and Clarke spent the season on loan with three League One clubs, Colchester United, Oldham Athletic and Bury before being released in May. Nathan is the older brother of Tom, who spent part of last season on loan at Brisbane Road.
