LOFC - Olympic Stadium Saga Rolls On

Orient chairman, Barry Hearn will allegedly approach West Ham United to seek talks regarding a possible groundshare at the Olympic Stadium.

With the Olympic Stadium being in danger of becoming a 'white elephant' after this summer's sporting events, it has now emerged that West Ham's Karren Brady has began looking into retractable seating which could be laid over the running track. The running track has to stay according to terms of a legacy agreement and this has caused West Ham's trio of owners, David Gold, David Sullivan and Karren Brady, to look into the possibility of retractable seating to continue their bid to use the stadium after this summer's Olympics.

Barry will now seek talks with the West Ham owners to allegedly discuss the possibility of a groundshare with the Hammers according to the London Evening Standard.

As yet, the rumour has yet to have been confirmed or denied by any official at Orient and until that point, this will remain nothing more than a rumour.

We at VitalOrient will keep you up to date on any official word from the club, when or if it happens.
