Orient have today, Thursday 17th May 2012, announced three friendlies against non-league opposition in preparation for the 2012/13 nPower League One season.
Of the three announced, The O's will first travel to Blue Square South side Sutton United on Wednesday 18th July 2012.
This will not be the first time Orient have faced Sutton in a friendly, prior to the 2005/06 promotion season Orient travelled to a sun baked Gander Green Lane to take part in a benefit game for Andy Scott. Goals from Shane Tudor and Gary Alexander gave Orient a 2-1 victory against United that day.
On Saturday 21st July 2012, Russell Slade and his men will travel to Kent to face Blue Square Premier side Ebbsfleet United, in what has become a regular fixture over the last few pre-season calendars.
Another trip to Kent awaits The O's as we travel to face Maidstone United on Wednesday 8th August 2012. This game is part of Maidstone's celebration of returning to the town after nearly 25 years in exile.
We will keep you all aware of friendly dates as and when they are announced.
