Leyton Orient defender Elliot Omozusi and midfielder Adam Chambers have been ruled out with hamstring injuries.
Omozusi was injured in Saturday's win at Norwich whilst Chambers was injured in training on Monday. The O's are awaiting the scan results but both could face up to 3-4 weeks out.
It is a blow to Russell Slade with the team starting to regain form and look to have strength and depth across the pitch.
But arrivals and recent good form mean the losses of Omozusi and Chambers can be covered for. Andrew Whing, who has now signed a permanent deal at the O's, is a capable replacement at right-back whilst Jimmy Smith's two goals in the last two games means that Chambers may have been on the bench.
But Orient can't afford anymore injuries in defence and midfield and a couple more January signings would ease some of the worry that these new injury blows have caused.
What effect do you think the injuries of Omozusi and Chambers will have on the team? Leave your thoughts below....
