Spurs And Hammers In For Zak?

Despite Zakuani signing a one year extension to his contract which ties him to Brisbane Road until 2008, the rumours will not stop when it comes to where the central defender will ply his trade after he inevitably leaves Brisbane Road. Zakuani has been in sparkling form this season alongside John Mackie and has been an integral part of Martin Ling's promotion challenging outfit.

West Ham and Tottenham are both believed to be very interested in the Congolese central defender who has played over 100 games for Orient and doesn't turn twenty until early May. In addition, to the two London clubs, Coventry, Crystal Palace, Sheffield Wednesday and Celtic have also been linked with a move for the O's youngster.

Martin Ling will not want to sell his prize asset and any deal that is offered to the O's will have to be a rather attractive one at best.

Zakuani is by far and away one of the best central defenders outside the top two divisions. He's tall, athletic and so so fast it['s quite incredible. He's a lot better than Anthony Gardner that's for sure!
JD
Don't think he'll leave during the summer unless it's a big fee. Martin and Barry really want him to stay for another couple of years I reckon, but hey, money talks.

When the O's played at Charlton, Gaby marked Darren Bent out the game, he never gave him a sniff. He's gonna be absolute quality when he's older, he's only 19!

DONT LEAVE GABBY! U WILL NEVER PLAY IN THE 1st TEAM STAY AT ORIENT AND PLAY EVERY MATCH PLZ ;'[

There's no point him leaving unless it's for a Premier League Club. The way the Orient are going at the moment, they're going to be in the Championship in a couple of seasons so Gaby should stay put for now!
SteveLOFC
Gaby will stay for now but let's be honest, he's far too good to play for Orient for the rest of his career. He deserves the chance to play at the top level, he has the potential to be one of the best defenders in the country.
LOFC4EVA
if he cumes to spurs than he will become 1 of the best central defenders in the world and will play for his country and take them far
yido4eva
would it be unfair to hold him back?
mvmiller
He'll go soon, probably at the end of the season I reckon. He's more than capable that's for sure.
